Takagi Tokio 高木 時尾, later, Fujita Tokio is the wife of Fujita Gorō (formerly known as Saitō Hajime).

Saitō Tokio never appeared in the series.
Personality[]
Saitō tells Kenshin and Misao that Tokio is a good woman and will take care of Eiji, to which the two jokingly say that she must be like a female Buddha if she puts up with Saitō.
Relationships[]
- Saitō Hajime - Tokio is Saitō Hajime's wife.
- Mishima Eiji - Since Saitō Hajime decided to adopt Eiji after the events of Shingetsu Village where all his family were murdered, Tokio became Eiji's step mother.
Abilities[]
Aparently Tokio is a stay-at-home wife who would be capable to raise a kid like Eiji in a proper way.

Kyōto Arc[]
After the events of Shingetsu Village where Mishima Eiji's family was murdered by Senkaku, Eiji was left alone and Saitō decided to take care of Eiji. So Saitō mentioned Tokio to Himura Kenshin and Makimachi Misao, saying that it was best to leave Eiji with Tokio, since they couldn't bring him along with them, nor could they leave him in the Shingetsu village, since Eiji had no other relatives left.
Trivia[]
- In real life Tokio was Saitō Hajime's second wife (after Shinoda Yaso 篠田 やそ).
