Mr. Sekihara is the father of Tae and Sae, who appeared only in the Rurouni Kenshin manga series.
Appearance[]
Mr. Sekihara has short black hair that is combed to the left side, thin eyebrows, eyes that allows appear shut, and wrinkles around his eyes.
Mr. Sekihara wears a white button down shirt, and dark colored pants that are held up with black suspenders.
Personality[]
Not much of Mr. Sekihara's personality is known but is was willing to corporate with the police when the Akabeko was destroyed.
Relationships[]
- Sekihara Tae - Tae is Mr. Sekihara's younger daughter, and the owner of the Akabeko restaurant in Tokyo.
- Sekihara Sae - Sae is Mr. Sekihara's older daughter, and the owner of the Shirobeko restaurant in Kyōto.
- Sanjō Tsubame - Mr. Sekihara employs Tsubame at the Akabeko.
Abilities[]
It is unknown what Mr. Sekihara is capable of, but he is presumably a good businessman.
History[]
Mr. Sekihara is only seen in the manga in a couple of panels.
Jinchū Arc[]
He and the other members of the Sekihara family were lucky to escape from the attack on the Akabeko by Kujiranami Hyōgo, one of Yukishiro Enishi's comrades. When Tae, Kaoru, and Tsubame arrive to find out what happened, He tells them what had happened.
