This chapter has several differences with other portrayals of the events of the story in different iterations of the franchise:
Differences with the 1996 anime[]
- In the manga Sanosuke also invites Sekihara Tae and Sanjō Tsubame to the party he organizes. This is in contrast to the anime where they are not present, but people like Oguni Gensai, Oguni Ayame and Oguni Suzume attend (they being anime original characters).
