Dual Conclusions: Megumi is the twenty-ninth chapter of the Rurouni Kenshin manga.
Synopsis[]
After the fight has ended, Kenshin, Sanosuke and Yahiko go to the third floor of the mansion to rescue Megumi. But inside the room they meet with a deeply troubled Megumi who still thinks the only solution for her sins is the death, and states she will commit suicide after all. Can everyone convince her of how important is to stay alive to atone for past endeavours? What will be Megumi's final fate?

Differences with the 1996 anime[]
- In the manga When the Kenshingumi arrive at Megumi's room, she talks to them for a while, and then she tries to kill herself but Sanosuke saves her. In the 1996 anime, she does not talk to the Kenshingumi and she tries to kill herself while being alone, but Sanosuke arrives first and stops her.
Differences with Rurouni Kenshin: Restoration[]

- When the Kenshingumi arrive at Megumi's room, she talks to them for a while, and then she tries to kill herself just before Sanosuke saves her, in the manga she tries to cut her wrists. This is in comparison with the 2023 anime, where Megumi tries to stab herself in the neck.
